So Long, Farewell, auf Wiedersehen, Good Night…
Yes, kiddies. It’s with much thought that I have decided to put my blog on an indefinite hiatus. Work has taken it’s toll with the reduction in work force. I am also discouraged that what brings the most hits to my blog are people searching for the term “Kristy McNichol”.
The blog has been an outlet for me to vent or talk about things on my mind, or to write humorous anecdotes…but it’s not fun anymore. At that point isn’t that really the time to move on? I may pop back in and leave an update occasionally, but I won’t set a goal of getting a post a day in anymore. And several of my blog friends have done the same…they don’t post as much anymore, if at all.
But I’ll still be reading the blogs I always do (and sometimes commenting). What I would really like to do is come back in the podcasting arena. Not a blog podcast, but I in the audio medium.
So everyone have a great rest of the week. I am taking Monday and Tuesday of next week off after two weeks of being the only help desk person here. I am fried physically and mentally. I think it’s time for a massage.
Later!
Let’s Make It Even Easier…
Yep! There’s nothing like giving a thief a hint on where to try the key they found in your purse when they stole it from you.
Too Late For Apple?
By now most people (at least the iPhone fans) have heard that Apple is creating an iPhone that will play nice with business services. I just read an editorial about Apple possibly being too late in trying to get into the business arena.

Time for a personal update:
We are getting by with our reduced staffing at work…so far. But my lead left last night for vacation and won’t be back until the week after next. Friday’s are slow so I can catch my breath and make this entry. I found out my department was reduced by 60% with the layoffs. We were definitely the worst hit in our company. But the OT is there. The Hubby is working tomorrow morning so I’ll come in and do some manual labor that needs to be done. We have a recycle pick-up coming on Wednesday for our old computers, monitors, etc. I’ve got about 20 more monitors to pile somewhere as well as record their asset tag numbers for our inventory.
I went to see Anne Murray in concert on Tuesday. Hubby has been a fan and hasn’t seen her in concert since the 80’s…so I got us tickets for one of his Christmas presents. I really enjoyed her performance a lot. But it was funny being the youngest people in the audience. This concert was in Lakeland and at 2:30 in the afternoon, so almost everyone qualified for AARP.
That’s all I got. I look forward to a very busy week next week. Everyone have a great weekend.

My Life’s Complete…
I found out today that a certain someone trying to take over our HOA because he or she owes us over $50K and their house is being foreclosed on, has filed a lawsuit against me. I haven’t gotten full details but it must be because I put together the web page…which says absolutely nothing negative about anyone.

It’s called spaying and neutering, you dumb bitch. I so want to see Bob Barker go off on her…
