It appears to have worked.

I noticed last weekend that Best Buy is moving into a closed Circuit City building next to the Millinea Mall. Good for them. I’m sure the cost of doing some outside remodeling is far less than the cost of a brand new building. I’ve been wondering why Bed, Bath, and Beyond doesn’t do the same thing with the closed Linens & Things store at the WG Village. The nearest BB&B to there is at least 15 miles away. Perhaps they just aren’t as business savvy as Best Buy?

Torchwood PT 2 was even better that PT 1! Unfortunately I didn’t get to watch PT 3 last night. Since Hubby will be out doing tech for the Encore concert tonight I’ll be able to watch the next two episodes tonight.

Still unsure about buying a home. I really would like to get the investment under my belt, but worries about not being able to rent it out quickly keep surfacing in my mind. The only good thing is I know I can say “no” at any time and put it off for awhile while I stash away some more money.

There is actually one in my development that’s right at the top of my price range. It’s on short sale and about to become foreclosed on. We are hoping to get inside it this weekend when we look at some more.

On the work front, it looks like Saturdays will be taken up with inventory. We are supposed to do one every two years and it’s that time. I’m still without a co-worker. Right now the latest I would get one is January. And it’s almost a sure thing that we are moving next year. We can get inexpensive office space right down the street…a lot less than what we are paying now. I can’t fault the company for that. I just wish they would use the savings for another HD person.

Torchwood: Children of Earth Pt 1 was awesome last night. And since they are playing them 1 a night, the series will be finished by Friday night. The down side is there will be no more Torchwood until the next season.

I had a really crappy day due to a fight erupting between my mom and brother, touched off by me, though not on purpose. I watched this, though, and laughed my ass off so I feel a bit better. Don’t drink anything while watching!

My thoughts:

That’s just wrong on so many levels. “Never touch dirty toilet paper again”? How do you get it on the stick thingy? And why are you buying dirty toilet paper to wipe with? Most people buy it clean.

And that fat guy is way too happy to be telling the world his ass cheeks are so flabby they prevent his arms from reaching his anus. Or maybe he also uses it to grab the Cheetos bag from the coffee table while sitting on the couch, too?

And that “old” lady talking about her improved quality of life? Sorry, lady, but you are too spry to require assistance wiping your ass. I can see Grandma Moses at 80 years of age, but not you.

Why didn’t they say to slip a condom on it and it becomes a handy dildo?

Another piece of (pardon the pun) crap that trailer trash and redneck folk everywhere can buy for themselves or a loved one for Christmas and feel they got the neatest thing since sliced bread. Salad tongs would be cheaper.

And I worked the Jungle Cruise so it’s even funnier! I so can’t wait for the new album to come out!
